Community is at the heart of River Island. Giving back and making a positive impact where it
matters most has always been important to us.
With stores across the UK, and an international community that stretches around the globe,
we’re dedicated to making a difference wherever we are.
By partnering with inspirational charities, we support the incredible work they do locally, nationally and globally.
River Island has partnered with Newlife since 1991, regularly donating clothing to be reused or resold and raising over £3m by donating money raised via the 10p plastic bag levy in the UK, which goes directly to Newlife.
Newlife changes the lives of disabled or terminally ill children and their families.
They provide specialist equipment to families in need, supporting families through a dedicated Nurse service.
Newlife also campaigns to give disabled children and their families a voice, and helps fund pioneering medical research.
River Island has partnered with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer for over 25 years, raising millions of pounds through our FTBC products.
This campaign helps Breast Cancer Now to provide life-changing care to people affected by breast cancer, as well as funding world-class research into prevention, detection and treatment.
